Trip to Philippines

It's interesting how a simple comment can lead to an adventure. I think that God can talk to us through other people, and maybe even give us direction. So it was with a simple conversation with a family member about a trip to the Philippines. What seemed like a directive lead to some investigation, which led to confirmation, which led to an adventure. I'm leaving Friday night to spend a month in Siargao, Philippines at Hope for the Island Foundation: www.hopefortheisland.org. I'm excited for what is to come. I'll be posting updates and pictures in an effort to bring friends and family along for the trip. :)
